The Grand Creativity Exchange is now underway!
My little creativity helper, Olive. She loves it when I make things and loves to “help” by gnawing on yarn and thread, playing with buttons, and trying to steal octopi… I caught her at a peaceful moment.
Hello hello hello! The Grand Creativity Exchange is now underway! So sit back, relax, and watch as the creativity unfolds! I’ve been cooking up several little projects these days, including putting the finishing touches on my little snail and octopus that you saw in this post:
The snail and the octopus…
I worked hard on these littleĀ invertebrates, especially the octopus!
The tentacles are double sided– I crocheted 2 pieces for each, then sewed them together, then added buttons to make little suction cups on each octopus leg.
When you shake it, it makes a cute little rattley noise! Perfect for a little one, which is where this little sea creature is going!
I was also making the snail as a baby gift, until…
The snail has found a home with Olive. As soon as I put it next to her for a cute blog photo op, she picked it up by the shell and ran to her mat to cuddle it.
It was love at first sight for these two…
I’m also nearly finished with my CE project that I’ll be sending all the way to Canada for Denise of Veggie Witch! It’s a good thing I wasn’t planning on sending the snail…
Bisous!
Rachel
