These are a Few of my Favorite Things…

“When the dog bites! When the bee stings! When I’m feeling sad… I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel…. so bad!”

Whenever I think of that song I only have Julie Andrews’s voice as Frauline Maria from The Sound of Music come into my mind…

Recently when perusing the blogosphere, I happened upon this happy little post from artist and blogger Emily Winfield Martin. Not only did it remind me of one of my favorite musicals, but it also made me stop and think about some of the beautiful things in my world.

So here are a few of my favorite things! I hope you love them as much as I do, and that you’ll comment on this post and let me know what a few of your favorite things are!

Beans the Wonder Rabbit eating kale in the early morning. Today I let her out of her cage as soon as I got downstairs and fed her a treat. She ate it on the couch!

Lazy Sunday mornings with a cup of coffee, colored pens and an art journal for planning some upcoming projects and mapping out ideas!

A bottle of fresh homemade almond milk.

My little plastic vintage doily, sitting on my kitchen counter. I like to place my french press in its center.

Having a sous chef, whether I want one or not! Leonor Fini loves his rug in the kitchen and I love having him there, even if it means tripping over him from time to time…

Bisous!
