visions of a dying summer
I’m always so enthralled by the fading of one season into the next. Summer into fall is perhaps my favorite transition. It’s impossible to pick a favorite season. But if I had to choose–the colors, crispness, sights, smells, and sounds of crunching leaves might just win.
My Mofotivation of late: finding balance. Balance between the foods I consume, balancing champagne and pumpkin ale, balancing time alone and the beautiful moments I share with others, balancing quiet time spend with Fini curled up in bed.
I’m drinking lots of kombucha these days–eating generally whatever I please, and exercising frequently. Mostly outside to soak up with dying summer light and bask in the new coolness of autumn.
As summer’s light fades and begins to pale through slowly browning leaves, finding balance could not be more perfect or a more natural process. I’m looking forward to fully enjoying this Carrboro fall, and hoping that a few changes on my horizon pan out in my favor. Stay tuned, and send good vibes our (to include Fini and Beans) way.
